Vince Young: Houston Madison High School Video Highlights

Vince Young had been dropping jaws for years before he ever wore a Texas Longhorns jersey. At Madison High School in Houston, TX (also wearing a #10 jersey), Vince had an impressive career and an amazing senior season in which he compiled 3,819 yards and 59 touchdowns. He also had his share of accolades:
  • Parade's and Student Sports' National Player of the Year after his senior year
  • 2001 Texas 5A Offensive Player of the Year
  • The Sporting News's top high school prospect
  • Recipient of the Pete Dawkins trophy in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl
And some people still wanted him to move to wide receiver!

This video shows highlights from his senior season as the Marlins quarterback and ends with highlights from his US Army All-American game where he dominated the best high school athletes in the nation.
